Freedom 5K Run, Stroll & Walk at Rotary Park

9:00 – 11:00 am

Come one, come all! Lace up your sneakers for a 5K adventure along the stunning Animas River Trail. The fun kicks off at 9:00 am sharp at Rotary Park. Don't forget to rock your wackiest, most patriotic outfit for extra style points!

Join us at Rotary Park for the Southwest Civic Winds Concert! This lively band will be jamming out patriotic tunes with some awesome surprises up their sleeves. Get ready to soak up those Independence Day vibes and have a blast - all for free!

Building Homes for Heroes BBQ & Bands Picnic at Buckley Park 12:00 – 4:30 pm

Bring a seat Buckley Park for a mid-day picnic and great music. Vinyl Lust will play at 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the James Kirk Band from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Activities for all ages include face painting, henna tattoos, Ruby Balloon, and a great cornhole tournament. This event is free. Food trucks on site.

4th of July Parade - Play It Like a Local!

Main Avenue 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm

The party kicks off at College (6th Street) and Main Avenue at 5:00 pm, strutting its stuff down to 12th Street and Buckley Park. Keep an eye out for our judges and hype crew hanging out at the 800 block of Main by the Main Mall. Best part? It won't cost you a dime to join the fun! 🎉

Street Dance featuring The Motet and Desert Child

Transit Center 6:00 - 9:30 pm

At 6:00 pm, brace yourself for Desert Child to kickstart the shindig and have you boogying in no time! By 7:30 pm, get ready to groove as The Motet rocks the stage. Come hungry, get your dance on, and stick around for a dazzling fireworks display! Best part? It's all on the house! Fuel up on scrumptious bites and drinks from a variety of vendors. Dive into fun activities like corn hole, face painting, and henna.

4th of July Fireworks

Transit Center starting at 9:15 pm

Weather permitting, Zambelli Fireworks will light up the sky with a big-boom fireworks show starting at 9:15 pm. The launch zone is the Durango Dog Park.
